Introduction

            The National Museum of Thai rice farmers stand in remembrance to honor of His Royal Highness Prince Washiralongkorn paid three royal visit over the ritual cermonies of making fertilizer, sowing and harvesting at Suphanburi province in 1985-1986.
            On March 23 rd1985 H.R.H. preside over the cermony of processing fertilizer at Ban Laemsakae (Chawak Pond), Doembngnangbuat district, Suphanburi province.
            On March 27 th 1986 H.R.H. led the farmers in the ploughing ceremony at Pai Khack Pond, Suphanburi province.
            On March 14 th 1986 H.R.H. led the people in harvesting the rice which was planted at Pai Khack Pond, Donphothong sub-district, Muangdistrict, Suphanburi province.
            All Thai farmers were deeply touch by H.R.H gracious royal activities, and must be impress in Thaihistoric. In 1989 the governor of Suphanburi province at the present moment, though to start construction the National Museum of Thai rice farmers and uphold the money for 8,790,125 baht form the private individual and government. The Fine Arts Department to be responsible for building and exhibition.
           The building of the National Museum of Thai rice farmers had atarted construction in 1986 and had two storeyed houses. The characteristic of architecture mix between the house and the barn of the farmers.
            On June 11th 1990. The Minister of Education announces to start the National Museum of Thai rice farmers to be the National Museum and was inaugurated on August 29th 1994 by H.R.H. Prince Washiralongkorn.
