Not only are there well khow beautiful places on the eats coats, but are also many archaeological sites scattered in the region noted particularly for the great number of exquisite Hindu sculptures showing the great skill of the artisans in Southeast Asia of that time.
         The Prachinburi National Museum is location in the city of Prachiburi as a centre of archaeological and Historical museums in the East of Thailand. The main purposes of the establisment are to exhibit and collect art and archaeolical objects found in Prachinburi and its surroundings. This includes Sa-Kaeo, Cha Choeng Sao, Chantaburi, Trad, Rayong and Nakhon Nayok, which has had human settlement, from prehistoric to historic prtiods. The main exhibition is focussed on archeology at Muang Si Mahosot in Prachinburi province.
