The collection of the museum is located in a two-storey building and is arranged in mainly these categories.

         The exhibition on the second floor of the building is divided into 3 sections :
          1. Art and Archeology in Thailand presents beginning with prehistoric and historic periods respectively Dvaravati. Srivijaya, Khmer, Sukhothai Bencharong and other related items.

         2. Underwter achaeology presents :
The artifacts and pottery excavated by underwater archaeologists such as Sukhothai caramics Vietnamese ceramics and various other ceramics. Excavation is still taking place in the gulf of Thailand along the east coast to this day.

         3. Prehistory in the East presents :
Traces of rich culture appeared to be in evidence since the prehistoric period. As the development of prehistoric culture reached its peak, the curtain for recorded history also began to open.

            The ground floor of the building houses art history and archaeology in the East, most of the objects came from excavation and surveying of ancient monuments at Mahosot Prachinburi and its surrounding area. The exhibition is divided into 2 sections :
            1. History and Archaeology in Prachinburi Presents :
            The masterpieces from Muang Si Mahosot and from surrounding sites feature historical and archaeologucal data and evidence. Muang Si Mahosot was a large city from the 1st to the 5th centuries A.D. at the same time as the funun kingdom. In the 6th to 11th centuries A.D. it had been the cultural centre of Dvaravati in the East. Late the art of the khmer in 12th - 13th centuries A.D. had a stronger ingluence and declined in the 14th century A.D.
            2. Archaeology in Nakhon Nayok presents :
            The development of several localities in Nakhon Nayok province could be dated as having human settlement until 15th century A.D. The exhibition covers the archaeological remains found at Amphoe Ban-Na since prehistoric times to historic times. These were found at Muang Dong Lakhon from Dvaravati period to Ayutthaya period(9th-20th centuries A.D.)
