Masterpiece ancient objects

         Carved Boundary Marker stone in Dvaravati period :
The most beautiful piece was boundary marker stone carved in bas relief depicting the scene of Lord Buddha's return to Kabilapas city. The carving is clearer in descriptive features than carved picture of other boundary markers. It represented Princess Pimpa brushing her hair to clean Lord Buddha's feet exposing her deep affection of respect. This ancient object was discovered at Muang Fa Daed Song Yang in Kalasin province.

         Bronze Buddha image, stucco figures and Buddha votive tablets made of baked clay in Dvaravati Period discovered at excavation site in Fa Daed Song Yang in Kalasin province, Embossed silver plates representing the figures of Buddha, Bodhisattva and persons, baked earth pot contained the stupa discovered at Muang kantarawichai in Kantarawichai district of Makasarakham province.
         Ancient objects in Lopburi art style dated around 12th - 13th century A.D. as following

         Lord Shiva image made of sandstone discovered at Ku Noi Muang Nakhon Champasri in Nadoon district of Mahasarakham province :

         The image of four handed Vishnu discovered during the excavation of ancient structure in Muang Nakhon Champasri only the body was found the head was missing.


 


 
     
       The image of Bodhisattva made of sandstone in Lopburi art style, discovered by staffs of Fine Arts Department regional office area 7 at Ku Santarat Muang Nakhon Champasri.
         The carved stone Lintel removed from ancient structure Ku Suan Taeng of Buriram province depicting Indra riding astride Erawan elephant. This is the prototype of stone carving craftmanship appeared on the architecture part of stone tower belonged to Lopburi art style.
